suspension upgrade big rims
hello, i just had a few questions to those who have upgraded there suspension due to over sizes wheels/tires i remember i had an x5 and i put 24's on it and the suspension went poof had to change all the tire rods,cv joints etc. will this happen to my hummer as well its an 08 SUT or can the stock suspension handle the weight and massive tires i am going to be putting on 315/30/30. or am i better of upgrading the suspension and brakes before i put the rims on . just seeing what my best options are if it will due just fine with stock suspension and brakes then i do not need to do anything and just throw the rims and im good to go?

Don't hit a pot hole with those tires!
Pretty sure you will be just fine running a set of fabulous rims on your H2. Lots of guys run 10 ply 37" and 40" tires that are well over 120lbs each, if not more. Keep in mind, the H2 is actually designed for off-road use, unlike an x5 so the suspension and steering components are going to be a lot more robust.
