I have an '06 H3 that i bought for about 6000$. Its had the motor replaced and has had a pretty hard life from what I can tell, but hard to turn down a solid deal. The sunroof had tape around it when I got it, i cut it off now that the winter has ended and opened it for the first time. Is the sunroof on the 2006 supposed to actually open or just vent? mine only vents, it does not open fully like most sunroofs I've seen. Hard to tell by looking at it if it should move more than that but the back kicks up to about a 20 degree tilt and thats it. Let me know if it should do more than this, I'll need to take it apart to address the problems that led the PO (moron) to tape it shut in the first place. Thanks brothers (sisters.)

 

From the closeed position push the button the other direction you have been and it should open.

 

u need to play with that sw., push brief,push hold, till u learn it!

 

Thanks guys, played around with it and it is having all kinds of problems but does not seem to open... Or close tight. Looks like I'm pulling it all apart next weekend to see if I can get it working correctly.
