Suggested tire pressure

RE: Suggested tire pressure
i run mine at 40 PSI. but i've got 37" tires, which are bigger than the stock tires. if you've got stock tires, i'd recommend 35 to 38. when you decide to go offroad, air them down to 18, this will definitely help with traction on any surface. just make sure to air them back up when you get back on pavement.

RE: Suggested tire pressure
That was an issue that I had as well. I messed with quite a few and found that I prefer 37psi. I went all the way up to 45 but man did it bounce around. I'm alittle older, although not quite as old as the "D" man, but I prefer comfort.

RE: Suggested tire pressure
40 psi would be fine for your stock tires, but it will be a stiff ride (snicker). if they're the bfg all terrains, they're rated up to 50, so try a few different settings between 35 and 40 and see how you like the ride (another snicker). the higher pressure ranges will provide slightly better MPG, but probably not enough to notice, unless you're running them now at 30.

RE: Suggested tire pressure
i never checked air pressure until the first time i aired down and it was 38 / 39, so i've always just aired back up to somewhere around 40. Seems fine. But its possible that my impression of ride quality is a little "relaxed", as cranking my torison bolts didn't make a change to the ride quality that bothered me at all ( i think i like it better).
Its getting cold now, and the tire pressure is probably dropping, but i wasn't planning on messing with it as i've never adjusted tire pressure for temp change (if that's even a concern).
