Default Stereo Removal

I am PISSED!! I set a starbucks coffee on my dash (just above the instrument cluster). I was just moving about 2 mph putting my seat belt on with both hands. I did NOT see the speedbump and BAM! Whole fuggin cup of coffee spilled on the dash. I cant tell you how mad at myself I am. Anyway, now the cd's don't play. No other problem (except the dried coffee smell). I do run an electronics repair shop and have done a number of car stereo repairs in the past. But, I don't want to tear my dash apart to get this thing out. Any tips from you guys??

Default garden hose?

if yure stereo is full of coffee and you dont want to pull it,??????
then a garden hose may clean it out.

otherwise put two fingers in lighter sockets and pull the cxzxvcxdsz dash!

you then unplug a dozen conn and unscrew the radio and soak it in the bathtub overnite

or get a boom box and set it on the passenger seat

lets see what else could we do,,,????

right now im cranking up hot august night

next time put your starbucks coffee can in a plastic basin on the floor
while you use 2 hands to put on belt while moveing and not looking for obstacles,,,or people!!! oops noone would be able to see it there!!

fortunatly they made this the worlds easiest stereo to steal,,,or remove for service

what a beautiful morning

tom, on a rant

Not sure if this is legit or not. I have already killed myself over what happened. Again, stereo removal? Anybody?

DO WHAT DRTOM SAYS.
2 fingers in the power sockets and pull. The bezel comes right off.

I could have the radio out in less than 2 minutes

I'm sorry guys. Maybe I need a sarcasm 'sign'. I will give it a try. That 'accident' happened about a month ago. The vehicle is currently with my better half right now (in Az, I'm in Socal). Once I catch up with her (2 weeks) I will take an afternoon and get that thing out, clean the optical assy, and re-install. ...One of the things that sold me on the 3 was the simplistic and user friendly lay-out of the dash and inst cluster. Removal of the stereo re-enforces my thought on that. Thanks and I will post the results.
