Default SS Bumper Letter Insert fell off

Anyone have any ideas for reapplying a SS letter that fell off? Luckily for me it fell off in my driveway. The 3M tape on the back doesn't have any stick left to it (which is weird becuase the letters are less than 6 months old). I searched the site for anyone with this problem but couldn't find anything.

Thanks,
pduffy

I would get a tube of Permatex Ultra black silicone, I use it all the time for stuff like that. It works great.

If you bougt the grey tape with the red backing that's the best stuff... I used the same stuff from Home Depot for my HID transformers and when I went to move them toa better place I couldn't pull the transformers off.

Is there actually a Hummer logo indented into the front bumper on 08 H3's, for these letters to be inserted into?
I never noticed anything....I had better look tonight!

I agree. Any kind of silicone adhesive is a hundred times better than double sided tape. For vertical surfaces use some blue masking tape to hold the object in place while the silicone sets up.
