soon to be h3alpha owner
Hello everyone my name is Mike. I am working on a del for a 08 h3alpha with 40,000 miles on it.it has a Hummer lift kit. New rims and tires and no navigation. They are asking 28.5 went down to 27.5 it is in great shape.what do you but thing I can get them down to. I know the previous owner traded it in on a 05h2 that was listed at 25 grand. So am guessing they have some room to work.I was hoping I could get them down to 25 otd. What you all think.I will try to post a pic of it

Just as a 'point of reference' I leased a new '08 Alpha for 2 years. At the end of my lease (April '10), I had 10k miles on it, and bought it outright for $27,700. I think I got a pretty good deal, but, either the dealer is gouging you, or they've held their price/gone up, for which I'd be very happy to hear!

NI could be wrong but they said the previous owner had the dealer put a Hummer lift kit on it. It looks like it has newer upper arms from what I can see. It also has like a air lines in the area of the shocks. I was wondering if there was some adjustable air shocks on thy em. It rides nice has good power. I will need to get some stock rims and tires for winterOK though

Hey guys I am going to be buying some winter or all season tires to put on these rims. They are dick cepak 20" rims what size and kind of tires would be best. My h3 is lifted but am not sure how much. I think on the front end it said rachero or something now sure if anyone can know how much it is lifted from that info lol just want to get some nice tires that would be good in the winter. thanks

Congrats on your purchase and welcome from Michigan. What kind of winters do you have? The guys that live in heavy snow regions seem to like the Good Year Duratracs. I have BFG AT's and while they are good, there are some traction issues at slow speeds. The tread blocks are wide on the BFG's and tend to lose some of the factory siping as they wear. Also, because there is not as much space between the blocks, snow tends to pack in the tires. If you just want them for winter tires you might try CL for some decent used treads.
