I bought a pair of smoked side markers on Ebay for $25. They came today...real fast shipping and they look great. There doesn't seem like an easy way to install them. Any ideas? I think pulling back the fender well is the way to go. Does anyone know how to release those plastic rivets without having to replace them?

hey are the complete lense with the housing attached just like the OEM lenses that are in your H3 from the dealership. To install these, you must remove all or loosen most of the fender well cover, take the light bulb out, pop-out the factory lense assembly, snap the smoked lense assembly in and then re-attach the bulb. They are fairly simple to install, but if you're not mechanically inclined, most garages should be able to do it for you at a reasonable cost in very little time.

Take a small flat blade screwdriver and pop out the center piece of the those rivets..Then the entire rivet will come loose from the hole

I've got one side almost done. The fasteners come out easily. Once you drop down the inner well you can get your hand right in there, The lens pops right out and the other pops in. I took some pics and will post some this weekend. Where is the best place to post the pics. Is there a project file somewhere?
