Small victories: space behind the seat

Small victories: space behind the seat
I just discovered something yesterday that may be useful to some in the future. I currently have a subwoofer, 6 channel amp, and inverter under my back seat. I was looking for a way to make the inverter more accessible and give me room for a second subwoofer. I took out the back seat and all of the rear trim / cover panels (not nearly as hard as it sounds, six bolts and pop off trim). I realized there is a bump out in the body wall and also in the cover trim on the passenger side behind the rear wall trim panel. This leaves space in between behind the back seat. I'm not sure if this is normally used for something with the Monsoon system, but I don't have that system, so it is empty. I mounted the inverter to the back wall, cut a small hold in the large rear wall cover panel to access the plugs on the inverter and the trim fit back over perfectly. Now if I flip down the smaller back seat, I have easy access to the inverter but it takes up no interior room. Check out the pic if you are interested, it looks much better in person. Just thought there may be other uses for something else that shouldn't be mounted on the floor.
