Default Slight vibration/skipping

I did a search on this and came up empty.

I have an 07 H3 with the I5 engine, automatic, and 60K miles. I just purchased it about two months ago and my only complaint is that occassionally at highway speeds it feels almost like it is skipping. The sensation is slight, but noticeable. It is only when cruising...if you accelerate it is smooth. It comes and goes and at first I thought it was just the road I was traveling. I'm still not certain that it is not the tires which are new Firestones. I get no DIC message.

Is this something that others have experienced?

1) Clean your MAF sensor with mass air flow cleaner.
2) Take of your TB and clean it very well with Throttle body Cleaner (spray some down into the intake manifold too.
3) Run a bottle of "TECHRON Concentrate" through the tank.
4) Change the spark plugs and only go with OEM AC Delco

I had the same feeling/problem with mine, sucker runs like a champ now. Although I had rough idle as another symptom (how does your 3 idle?) and Im still having a semi rough idle so will be buying a new MAF sensor soon.

I had not thought of the tranny, but come to think of it that is what it feels like. Doesn't quite feel like the engine is missing, but it feels like there is no drive for a split-second for several times per second, up to maybe 30 second intervals (whew that's a lot of "seconds"). Won't get a chance to fool with it until this weekend, but will definitely check tranny fluid and condition. The torque converter locking and unlocking very quickly would cause just the symptom I am experiencing.

Sorry for the mis-info, just remembered that I had flushed tranny and changed filter too. Could have been that! Bought my 3 with 54k miles and did every recommended maintenance I could find on this forum

Let us know how it goes!
