Question: what size are the stock door speakers (front and rear) in a 2007 H3. Much to my surprise (dismay, disappointment) Crutchfield STILL doesn't have the information on my vehicle yet. Mine has the base radio and plainest audio available. I am about to install dvd, 2 amps, 10's, and need to know the sizes so I can order appropriate door speakers.

And please...do not include information in your answer about torsion bar keys HAHAHAHA.

They are 6.5" inch speakers.

[8D] All FOUR??? That's terrific! Should make a nice setup with seperates in the front, and 2-ways in the back doors...

See, wasn't that easy????

Thanks!

Just how damn long does it take Crutchfield to research a vehicle ?

I always liked their "one stop shop" way of doing business.....But damn......

I wonder if it would have any effect, were a bunch of interested forum members to e-mail the hell out Crutchfield?

[:@] Actually, if you want to spur them on...go to their website, try to look up your vehicle, and a "don't see your vehicle?" thing pops up. Click it and put in the info on your H3. That sends it to them and tells them to research it.

If anybody is near VA...I talked to a lady there one night who told me they would be interested in borrowing one to do the research. In my mind, that means FREE INSTALL. I was thinking of planning a vacation down there...but frankly, I can put the stuff in myself to save a 6 hour ride each way at 15 mpg haha.

I did that months ago as well as an e-mail.......Got a polite response
but no time frame was outlined.

If your guys are interested, give it a shot. It only takes a few minutes.

Hell, I'm gonna go hit 'em up again myself.

you can actually go up to a 6 3/4" speaker in all 4 doors.....the door opening is kinda oblong so you can fit it easily.....either way expect to make custom speaker rings/baffles for good sound.

Have you replaced yours? I would appreciate any/all information you would be willing to provide...as I would just assume not break anything in the process if I can avoid it. Did you find wiring adapters to use?

Thanks!
