No problem. I was going to be upset if you actually had Ultras because I just bought my Silverstars last friday.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I put the SilverStars in both the headlights and fog lights the day I took delivery of the truck -- the mains were easy to switch out, but the fogs took a bit of delicate work. If you turn the wheel all the way to one side and crawl under the front end, you can just reach up into the grill with two fingers to to the switch......it's worth it.

Ok so the link I posted for the xeon lights are at 8500k. The Silverstars you guys listed are 4000k? Is there a reason to go with a light that isn't as bright?

I think the reason for the Silver's are that they are plug and play. It took me all of 10 minutes to install both headlights and both fog lights.
With a higher temp bulb you need more wattage to be pumped through it. Hence you either need to upgrade your wiring harness or put a ballast in, which takes more time and a bit more work to get it just right. The problem with Xeons atm is there are no real H13 bulbs, as far as I know, (Importkiller is the expert on this!) and you will not be able to have High beams while using the Xeons. You can only keep low's on. Maybe Import will stop by the thread later and enlighten us with his wisdom.

They are actually using less power thanthe Silvers. Silvers are 55/65W and Xenon's are 55/60W. They are also plug and play and D.O.T approved. Here's what it says in the listing.

-8500K Xenon & Krypton Rating
-Expensive HID Look
-Lifetime Warranty
-Quick and Easy To Install
-No Modification Needed
-Mounting In Seconds
-No Special Wiring Required
-100% D.O.T. Approved Safe To Use On All Vehicles
-Two Times Brighter With No Extra Current Draw
-100% Street Legal In All 50 U.S. States

-Ultra bright Xenon/Krypton Gas!
-Fits Stock Wiring Harness

Btw I'm not trying to say they are better per say... Cause I know nothing about lights. Just going off of what I'm reading. Let me know what you guys think.

I'm very interested to see how they work/look. If I can go brighter through a "plug-n-play" Xenon then I'm all in. How much did you pay for them?

You can tell the difference right away. I will take more pictures at night when I get a chance and comment on how the distance is.
