Which one did you actually purchase (I see a list from the link)? Does the length matter? Also, which adapter would I need, I see 3 of them (see below). Do I need all 3 (I have an 07).

I like the LOOKS of my shorter antenna, but reception quality DOES LACK with some smaller stations. Any of the MAJOR stations are fine, but smaller stations(less power),I can't pick up very well.

There is a reason your truck's antenna is 31" or somthing inches long. Has to do with optimizing the antenna length for the wavelength of the AM/FM radio stations that you want to receive. If reception is not an issue,why not just cut (name of cutter tool is no longer PC)your existing antenna down to 9" instead of buying a new shorter one? It'll work just as well as one of the "shorty" aftermarket ones.
