Service 4Wheel Drive and iSimple by Peripheral Electronics

I installed an iSimple to connect my iPhone to my factory Nav system. It seemed to worked AWESOME for about 2 months then last Saturday night I got a Service 4 Wheel Drive message. I called OnStar who told me it was a switching issue and to take my truck to the dealership.
The dealership reprogrammed the computer since there was a service bulletin out and it seemed to take care of the issue. They also did a state inspection while it was there. Everything seemed fine until the next morning when my truck started throwing all sorts of codes. They traced back and noticed I had the iSimple installed. After removing it, all was fine.
Has anyone else had issues with this or any other device installed between the computer and the radio.. or with an aftermarket radio of any kind?
