Rusting?

Rusting?
I live in Scottsdale Arizona but work in Rocky Point(In Mexico on the beach). My H3 is two weeks from new and I notice some bolts and C-rings down below are rusting(discolored rust color). Does anybody else notice this?

So, its common. This going to drive me crazy. I detail my car once a week to keep it nice after my trip to Mexico(sea air, salt, sand can be harsh) and to see what is going on in the suspension area is going to make me crazy.

Yes, they still make the undercoating in a spray can..But that stuff should only be applied to clean, rust free surfaces, otherwise it will flake off in a few months or year..
I have found good old fashioned RUST-OLEUM works fine on rusty parts..Just make sure the mud and crap is off first.

RE: Rusting?
Sounds like iRocky Point has come long ways since I was there back in"94. It really reminded me of Saudi Arabia, down to the climate. If, and when, the oil runs out, the Sauds have another gold mine, if they will let people come, and if there is any way to get there besides sail boat. the Red Sea coast in northern Saudi Arabia is pristine and untouched. That's a LOT of if's. Sounds like you have a great job. The off roading down there should be great! Some times I REALLY miss the desert.
