Default Roof Rail Drivers Side

Well I was going down the Highway the other day and I started to hear a noise which I thought was the Drivers side pillar plastic. Well after looking a little farther it appears the rail (plastic piece) that goes from the pillar to just over the rear door has a crack in it. I'm going to try and replace this but I'm not having any luck and wonder if anyone knows the part number or where I can get one at a good price. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

I'm pretty certain there is a prat# available for this. Have you tried GM on the web?

I had those replaced so I will look around for the work order to see if the part numbers are listed. This dealership may have been ignorant but they had a hell of a time getting the right parts for some reason. First they got confused and ordered to right sides then weren't sure if it needed a gasket. They said there had been a mild redesign which caused the problems.

This was a common problem in 06/07 causing a modification to the part. Mine isn't cracked, but on a blustery day the passenger side will make the crackle sound.

Since he is offering it at half price, I figure that is pretty helpful. Now if he could just get me an H3T at half price.....

No, he is selling a USED piece for $75+shipping and comparing it to a NEW piece that is $150 and you can pick it up form your local dealer.

1/2 price for a USED piece sounds about normal.
