Rock Sliders on my H3T
I just finished fabricating my rock sliders for my H3T, since no one makes them. Let me know what you think. I am going to go off-road this weekend and try them out and modify them from there. I am going to throw some primer on them before I go, I had just bolted them on when I took the pics.

That's what I'll be looking for, rather then the (overpriced) steps from the dealer. Reminds me of the sliders I had on my Z.J 5.9; loved 'em and they sure saved me a lot of damage (plus the ZJ was unibody)!
Does the main tube rest against the rockers? In other words, is there any flex at all?
As an aded benefit, you don't have to worry about morons banging their door into your truck

Very little flex, they are pretty rigid. We jacked the truck up off the ground using the sliders and it moved very little maybe a 16th. We had 5 people standing and jumping on the step portion and all it did was rock the truck. To answer your question about space, we made them with more flex in mind so we have a 1/2 clearence between the body and the main tube. On my next set we can probablly go less.

Sounds good. That's right, yet another benefit to those is that a hi-lift jack works great (in fact, one of the only ways I could raise my Jeep, lol). Well, if you start making a few, let me know as I may be interested in a pair...I imagine the 'square' look compliments the lines of the truck, as well. (some people like round, but IMO square looks better on something like the ZJ or H3/T, whereas round may look better on a WJ (1999+ GC)).
Stainless would be nice options too
I ended up painting mine with hammertone. Tempted for powder coat, or truckliner, but they get scraped up pretty bad...Don't forget to put some traction tape (anti-skid) on the top where you'd get in...Gets real slippery when wet or snowy, etc!
