Default Restoring Hummer NEED HELP

Hi my name is Austin I just bought a Hummer H1 a 1996 wagon and it was in fair shape but it needed work I have a couple questions for you

first off - I need to find a new air housing canister for it as the one I have is cracked anyone know where I could get one so my new air filter doesn't get ruined

second - my CTIS gauge doesn't work and the deflate for the front doesn't work so I can only inflate not deflate the tires in the front the rear works fine though

third - The A/C doesn't blow cold air and the vent that direct the air at the face receive no air flow what so ever

I am unfamiliar with this type of vehicle so any help would be greatly appreaciated

hello pilot223,
the air cleaner canisters, you can get a military one or find a couple of shops that are doing the duramax conversions and they may have one laying around somewhere.
the a/c issue could be a lot of differant things. my first guess is check for a vacuum leak going into the vehicle from under the hood of the hummer. there is a vacuum valve mounted on the passangers side of the fire wall under the windshield. it has a round, two wire plug going to it. this puts vacuum to the water valve to shut it off when you turn the a/c on. is your compressor going on when you turn the a/c on?
next the ctis system sounds like you have a bad selector switch. when you push the selector switch to the tires that you want to fill or deflate, when you push the say inflate switch and have it set on the front tires than it puts power to the front solenoid and opens to fill the front tires. when you press the deflate switch it opens up the front solenoid and keeps the compressor shut of and opens the deflate valve at the same time. if this is only doing this in the front wheels and not in the rear wheels i believe it would have to be something in the switch because the front wheel solenoid is opening up to pump up the tires.

Ok I found a new air canister damn they are expensive

the onboard air compressor is not running when I engage the a/c and I will check the vacuum

as for the CTIS I don't know much but I will pull apart the dash and look at the switch to see why the front aren't deflating

oh yeah there are two other problems the tire pressure gauge doesn't read proporly and the aux fuel tank sender doesn't read proporly
