Default resonator removed?

Ok let me explain a little more on my intentions. I have a 3.7L and was under it today trying to figure a water storage idea. Plan is to remove the muffler and resonator and install a quiet (flow master, magna flow, what ever) in the resonator spot and have the tail pipe exit the passenger side rear of the h3. My question is has anyone removed it and did you get any annoying interior drone or noise? Thanks for any help.

Do a search on exhaust mods, I can recall several threads that talk about this in one way or another. A couple had pics and one you could call a "how to" kinda.

Many people have removed the exhaust resonator and go with a pipe out the back. I have never wheeled with anyone who has so I personally have never heard exactly what it sounds like.

I know people that have removed everything.... it sounds kinda ricer.... but they liked it.

The one thing you must do is make sure the exhaust does not terminate under the truck. That same guy that removed everything also melted his rear bumper.

I removed the resonator, but had to put it back due to a fairly load drone. also tried it with both Magnaflow & Flowmaster; settled for the Flowmaster.

cut the boat anchor/muffler off and added just a straight pipe out the passenger side back and left the resonator. Has a deeper sound without any drone and does not sound like Honda with a fart can. Throttle response is also improved. Cheap mod, that also cuts a few pounds off the H3 too.
