Replacing knock sensors

I have done mine, it's not too bad. I suggest only using new OEM parts. Mine had aftermarkets that died. It's a good chance to clean up a few things as well.
While you have the intake off you may want to replace the camshaft position sensor. I had a problem with mine and had to remove the intake to replace it a week later.

I didn't see any use in adding the silicon either or all that aluminum tape. I purchased OEM harness and it was well protected.
