I was thinking about buying a used grille but it does not have any mounting clips. I have a few questions:

Will these general replacement clips work Grille Bracket items in Hummer H3 H3 store on eBay! ?

Does anybody know of another place I could get a few mounting clips? If so, how much do they run per clip?

 

Be careful when buying a used grill and to make sure ask for detailed images of the mounting points. If somebody got impatient and jerked it out wrong they may have broken the plastic tabs that the clips slide on to. I have seen several like that.
It may be possible to buy them from a dealer.
Otherwise try a body shop supply house and take the grill or clips with you.
Unless you have a shop "weld" plastic tabs on, it will be difficult to make the grill secure.

The white 2-piece clips picture in the bottom photo above are what you need and can be ordered through the dealer.

 

The upper clip in the bottom photo above is GM part #11561829 (can buy it on Ebay: Hummer GM 11561829 Grille Grille Assy Clip | eBay ).

The lower clip is GM part #15078238 (can also buy it on Ebay: New Genuine GM 15078238 Black Front Bumper Radiator Grille Clip Retainer | eBay ).

 

I have an 07 Adventure and I have gone through three grilles.
The white clips that Xlr8n mentions are the exact ones I have used, broken and bought new from the dealer. My point is when you do order them, get a few extra, they break very easily. They are not very expensive
