Reduced Power, Stabilitrak failure, engine light on...Whats up???
First, the engine light came on last week...ran cool and oil was good all things were seemingly okay...I just thought it might clear itself..but..I opened the air filter and I have a friend in there...a f$%^g rat had camped out...I cleaned the cavity and reinstalled the air filter..next day my DIC gives me the notice 'reduced power'..stabilitrak failure'..etc...I cant get this thing over 50 mph...I checked for chewed wires..none that I can see. Any directional tips on this??? The 2 whell\4 high\4 low lights are okay on the dash (lit up) I did a search on this forum but was trying to get a clearer approach from anyone here...let me know..hope all is well with you guys..

The engine goes into a reduced power mode for a few possible reasons. If you do not have a scan guage or code reader, go to an auto parts and see what codes are up.
If your buddy the rat had acces to and tried to crawl into the intake and touched/corrupted your MAF sensor, that is one possibility.
The other most common (not rat induced however ) is when you have throttle position sensor failure, the PCM will then default to reduced power.
Post up your code(s), google them as well.
