Never had this problem in my H2 myself ... spent just under 4 hours out in the thickest storm we've had this season and it performed just fine.
Do you have an aftermarket filter system suck as a K&N FIPK installed!?? Is it possible it gets soaked or iced over after a while and becoming more restrictive thus pullin the performance down.

definitely need more info. does the check engine light come on at all, flashing or on solid? are your temperatures stable and at least 200 degrees for engine? i'm assuming the "reduced power" you mention is what comes up in the display? this should throw a code, which your dealer can pull and investigate.
