Recomendations for brush guard
I'm looking to add a chrome or stainless steel front brush guard for my H3, I like the OEM style but can't see paying $700 for it. I'm looking to spend in the $400 range and I would install it myself. Also I'd prefer one that is one piece (I figure less rattle or thingsto go wrong). I think its also important for it to match the factory chrome. Has anyone purchased one they like? Where'd you buy? How much? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've spent 3 hours online looking all over the web, starting with advertisers on this site.

RE: Recomendations for brush guard
I took a peak at the new H3X guard tonight and I must say, I like it much better than the standard tube look. You can source one at your local Hummer dealer. However, I think it will run you over the budgeted 4 bills.

I put this one on last year. Not real rugged but holding up well. http://www.gstyle4u.com/.sc/ms/dd/H3%20Exterior--H3%20Grill%20%26%20Brush%20Guards/801/ARIES%20BLACK%20GRILL%20GUARD%20^2F%2006-07%20HUMMER%20H3

RE: Recomendations for brush guard
I have the SMA guard from Tekka Toys. They gave 10% off and it is a very solid peice.
The tubes are about 2" dia. It took 15-20 min to put on.

RE: Recomendations for brush guard
Thanks for your help, I looked into all your suggestions and decided tonight on what bmbenear did. I've bought from GOGOPARTS before and was happy with them. I came across the brush guard for $259 and free shipping. If it lasts me a year I'll be happy and if i decide its not holding up or is taken too much of a beating i'll order the OEM one. I made a few calls and the OEM chrome would run upwards of $725. I"ll probably install it as soon as I get it and I'll posta pic or two when I do.

Very nice.......Looks great against that color.
Edit>
You know, after looking at those pics a little more, I've got to say, that color was made for chrome.
