Recall - heated windshield fluid gizmo - help!
#11
Thanks Calif Phil!
This fuse was hard to find. In fact, I had to take it to a GM dealer, and they had a tough time finding it....It is of course hidden from view.
I am removing this large weird-looking 60 amp fuse, which is located underneath the plastic cover surrounding the fuse box. to prevent any "incidents" with the heated WW fluid pump.
For everyone else to know: The fuse for the heated WW fluid pump is hidden underneath the plastic valence panel surrounding the fuse panel, and the fuse is situated low between the panel and the battery. Lift top of fuse panel cover off. Then unclip at bottom and pull straight up on the plastic surround, to lift this cover off the fuse panel. You will see the large 60amp fuse sitting next to the front side of the fuse panel.
That should do it I believe.
