Default rear cargo area net - H3

Hi Everyone,

I have now broken the little round clips on this thing for the second time now.

I have the net installed horizontaly.

Am I doing something wrong. the round clips nearest the rear door keep breaking on me.

Anyone else having this problem?

I've had them replaced once now under warranty.

thanks.

The dealer gave me one of these rear area cargo nets during a visit of mine and it doesn't even fit my 06. i broke the same clip that you did trying to install it. I was wondering if i was missing some hardware to install correctly because its not even close to fitting. It is gm part# 15086317 and i beleive thats the same part number for all h3's.

It fits all right, tight but you can get it to fit.

Maybe its just to toght which causes the clips to break everytime.

What a shame because I did like how covered what I have stored almost like a sun shade\security cover.

O'well.... Instead of the cheap plastic clips - they need to be made of some kind of metal.

thanks.

I have broken three, so I know how it feels. The clip is a poor design. Because of the clip, the nets only use is to hide what you have under it.

I could be mistaken, but I thought the round clips higher up were only to attach the cargo shade. The cargo net attaches to the d-rings in the floor.

Wasn't there a post on here somewhere or a picture where someone had taken some washers or fender washers and screwed them in place to help support the hangers?? I remember seeing it somewhere....

I would recommend bringing this back to the attention of the dealer if it was already replaced under warranty once. Please feel free to keep me posted.
