Rear Axle Speed Sensor

Rear Axle Speed Sensor
When I picked up my 2007 H3, the dealer thought it would be nice to let me know that the rear speed sensor on the rear axle had a small leak or wet spot around it after I had picked up the hummer and was at my house. I guess this slipped their mind when I was signing the paper work. Since they are not a "Hummer" dealer, they can't fix it. They are a Chevy dealer and they said that it was too different. I called B.S. on this one since they have sold quite a few Chevy Colorado's and I assume they are similar. Anyway, anyone ever replace the o-rings in these speed sensors where they attach to the rear axle? To me it looks like a brake line attached to the axle. Are these hard to fix?
Thanks in advance!

I remember theBroken mentioning something about this but I did a search and I couldn't find anything. You may want to PM theBroken ane see what he says.
I have removed and replaced a rear axle in an H3 and we removed the speed sensors on the old axle for future use. It was not hard at all to remove them and I think you can purchase just the seals for not much $.
