Rear axle & diff skid shields installed on Alpha...
Well, I finally got around to installing the rear axle and differential skid shields on my Alpha. I got these through the dealer I work for and they are made by Boulder Accessories. Super easy to install. It only took about 20 mins. Very tough and should hold up quite well. Enjoy the before and after pics...

Did they come with all the mounting hardware included? Do you need longer U-bolts for the shock skids? Any leakage from rear dif after removing 4 bolts on diff skid? I'm just curious, because i'm looking at getting these in the next few weeks, and was curious about installation.
Thanks in advance!

The shock skid plates do not come with any additional hardware. You remove the 4 bolts under each shock plate and slide the skid plate on and re install the nuts. Theres plenty of thread leftover. Just make sure you support the leaf springs with a jack to hold everything in place. Thats really a 2 person job.
The differential plate comes with additional hardware. No leaking occured. Everything stayed sealed just fine. They supply longer bolts to replace the 4 you remove from the diff cover.
