Ready for "poser" accusations
Having custom paint work done on our supercharged '08 Alpha. No rust and mud here......I expect plenty of "poser" feedback. Will be at Autorama in Detroit next year, along with plenty of other shows this summer..... Photos are taken with my iPhone, will have plenty of in process and finished pics soon taken with a real camera.......

I'm a flame fan. My 58 Chevy has the entire nose done. They are old school in style. Wide red pin stripe on a flat black paint job. I painted it that way in the early 90's long before the so called rat movement. I did not think flames look good on an H3 til now. I had not thought of air brushed flames, but they seem to fit to me. Congrats on a great look! You now truly have a one of a kind H3. Good luck in the show season.

'58Bisc.....the airbrush artist did a photoshop sketch for me with "nostalgic" ghost flames and another with the "true fire" style that we went with. Amazing how close the finished paint work is to his sketch. We discussed the possibilities for weeks and both agreed that the shape of the H3 and the fact it is a newer model year kinda suggests that the more modern looking flames would be appropriate.
Those pics were taken yesterday morning.....as you can see it is far from complete. The 2nd round of clear coat had just been sprayed the day before. It still needs to cure then be sanded and polished. Plenty of other things being done as well. Some of the photos show the artwork a little better due to the location of lighting inside the building.
The fellow doing the paint work has a daughter in law with a photography business. They are doing "start to finish" photos for me. I should have plenty of high quality photos to share in a few weeks.
