Does anyone experience a rattle from the cheap plasticy dashboard?

It seems to be very loud from the passenger side especially where the handle meets the dashboard.

How the *** do I get rid of it?

 

I had that issue it was the molding on the front windshield. I took mine in to the local hummer dealership and they fixed it right up.

If at all possible, please ask them what they did. Mine is out of warranty and I really dont want to pay $200 to have them shove some folded card board between the dashboard and windshield.

 

They used an epoxy on the side and top molding. I would just call your hummer dealership and ask them what brand or even how they adjust the front windshield molding. It only took them about 20 mins. Maybe offer to get a oil change there and see if they cut you a deal.

 

Can you give me the name of the dealership where you had it done? My guys are pretty much clueless. I want to give them a call and possibly have my dealership talk to them.

It sounded like the rattle is coming from the dashboard. I know that my windshield was replaced. That may have had something to do with it.

 

I had the same problem and put a bead of black silicone down the outside windshield trim. $5 for a tube of Permatex Ultra Black.

 

Just squeeze some down on the outside of the windshield? One you apply it, is it visible? If possible, would you mind posting a picture?
