Question for Hunner...

You should be able to click on my screen name on my post and go to pm.
Someone else built that for their H3. When they sold off parts to sell the vehicle I got lucky and bought it.
If you are interested he was selling plans. Very detailed cad drawn plans. I have to see if I can find an email address for him.
I also have a smaller version but I'm keeping it also.
I should have pm checked I will see if it still is.

I have the other (1 of 2 made) in the smaller size. I love it and don't know how I got along without it! It fits perfectly on top of my 315 MTZ spare. Perfect for a cooler on long trips and even better for hauling around your muddy, snowy and dirty yank straps without getting the interior filthy! I prefer the smaller version (although I don't own the HUNNER version) because I can still see out of the driver and passenger rear corner.
I know he was selling the plans for a while. I'll have to get in contact with him thru a buddy and see if he still sells the plans or not.
NO, it's not for sale either.

On the big one I talked with the designer about me having some made. Problem is the price ain't right. I talked with someone about making them and they only replied, "how many" There was a bunch of interest at first and some people bought the plans but I have not seen a one that anybody else made, yet.

That would be the point of doing a group buy so the fab shop could make more than one thus lowering the cost. Problem is it would probably take about 10-15 of these things to be pre-ordered with 1/2 down to even get the price down into a range that could loosely be considered reasonable. I know of one fab shop but do not know the guy who originally made this setup. Hopefully one of you guys will be able to get into contact with him. Otherwise i could probably take a picture by the shop and ask them how much it would be to build a similar item.
