Default Punctured Tyre

Evening,

Was in London for the weekend, took the Hummer up, and off all things that could go wrong, first the air conditioning stopped working. (It just happened to be mega hot on that day) secondly, I have a puncture.

I was not really dressed to do a tyre change so I called the AA (breakdown service). I have two memberships with this lot, as soon as they heard Hummer they refused to come out as it was over 3.5 tons. First, I heard of this rule.

By this time all of London seemed to walking past s****ering which was really winding me up. By chance took had another break down card, which was given to me by my insurance company, gave them a call and told them the weight was 2.5 tones so they came out, which was so lucky!!!

Anyways they ( 2 mechanics) finally got there, and man did we try but we just couldn’t get the jack out, for some reason they couldnt get the back seats folded; as you need this to get the jack out. Boy did we try.

Now I don’t know if I am missing something here but how the hell do you fold those back seats………[:@][:@]

Cut a long long story long, we got a jack from HGV, and finally managed to jack it up. The twos guys they sent out had a jack which could lift upto 2.5 tons[:-]

Either we brits are just stupid, but how the hell do u fold those back seats? Also is does H2’s have any problems with air con I don’t know about?

Any help will be appreciated….

Pull the seat cushion up and forward, the backs lays forward once the cushions are out of the way.

All that for a busted tired though, my gawd son!!!!! Them (yes, I don't consider myself one anymore lol) europeans sure don't know how to handle a hummer, do they LOL!

Actually Zyne, we managed to get the bottom of the seats in place , it was the back part, we had problems with.Is it just by force you bring them down ? Or is there a handle or something? This was the part of the seat that we couldn't budge...thsu couldnt get the jack out.

when you pull the bottom of the seat up oit has to be pushed to a certain place so it pulls the lock out on the back then it will come down ( try movin the driver seat forward)

Yeah.... this happened to me also.... when you pull the loop the seat bottom folds forward... when it pulls forward... it pulls two cables that releases the back... one of mine came out on each side and my seats would not fold. It took 3 minutes to fix... and it has not happened since.

Hmmmm that makes sense, will give it a tester tomorrow...hopefully it should work, not going anywhere in the H2 until i can get that jack out myself.
