Yup , 05 mirrors were a problem with folding and the reverseing mirror tilt. They will replace them with the 06 upgraded mirrors.

Update: Took it to the dealer to get fixed last friday and after 6 days its finally fixed, it wasboth mirrors and a module in the drivers door that had to be replaced ,it was out of warranty so it was an expensive fix at 1488.00 bucks, Ouch that hurt...........They replaced the mirrors with the new designed mirrors that are on the 2006 and up, thanks again for the help guys........

I would like to thank all here at hummerforums for this info...ran right out to the h2 put the key in started it up(was COLD outside)...and dam the mirrors folded right in...SWEET...does my trkhave anyother things i should look for...??? 03 LXV H2 thanks todd

hi i built or repaired at the end of the line every h2 to built and i own an 03 same problem if your are able take mirror off unscrew the fold in motor from inside mirror slide out enough so you can get cover off usally rusted or coroded clean up put back togather you can plug it back in and check it before you put it back on the truck

they all had folding mirrors

to get the door pannel off unsrew the screw behind the door handle,take the little pannel the screws in off then unscew the two screws behind it the carefully slip a putty knife or something similar between the pannel and door pop off pannel

Ron, Thanks for your insight on this. I have a 2005 H2 and the mirrors just now started acting up. I go to pull in my garage for the past 2 night and they didn't fold. Go out later, hit the switch and they fold. any more help would be appreciated.
