Default Politics and HUMMERs, which are you?

HUMMER owners are not exactly your Prius driving Eco-***** which would lead me to believe we're all fairly politically aligned. Now's the chance to see if we're more alike than we'd care to admit.

I would say I'm a moderate, with libertarian leanings. The only person who I would love to see in the White House is Ron Paul. Sure, it may be a long shot, but I don't think we need another Bush (Giuliani) nor do I think that the country is ready for the type of Socialism that Clinton seeks.

I think Fred Thompson is right, but that may be a long shot also.

I agree with some of Thompson's positions. I do not like his position on the Iraq War though!

If you wrapped up all the characters that Thompson played in one guy, I'd vote for him!!

I just can not bring myself to vote for anyone who wishes to continue the Iraq War.

Unfortunatly, we are in a position to where we don't have a choice but continue and finish what we started. I am currently in the US Army and am an 18 yr vet with 5 tours beginning with Desert Storm, Somalia x2and my last 2 in Iraq. I don't really like going over there anymore than the next guy, but I was there at the beginning of the war and went back 3 yrs later and I can tell you that we have made a hell of a difference in thier quality of life (you won't hear that on Network TV or the Communist News Network). And keep in mind, I know this is just my opinion.
Everytime that I go I HATE leaving my family, however it's for the better of someone else's life. Whether you believe we went for oil, revenge for Bush's dad or whatever the cause is that you believe; it helped the people there. I can tell you that the majority of them over DON'T hate us, yes they want to govern themselves but they don't have a problem with what we have done for them.
Again, just my opinion
