Default Plastic noisy inside

Hi Guys ...

I was wondering if all Hummer H2 has the same problem with the noisy plastics .
Mine is really noisy , even placing the arm on the door and the plastic make a crackly noise .
Any thought on how to decrease the noise

Hummer is a H2 2006 , I just got it 1 month ago

Thanks to replays

Have you brought this noise to the attention of your local dealer? I would be willing to look into this for you as well on my end. In order to do so, I will need the last eight of your VIN. Please feel free to contact me privately. Thank you.

Tricia, GM Customer Service.

Default noisy

I was checking some people who owns Hummer and same problem , So it looks to be a common problem ...

Im VERY happy with my Hummer but it is unbelievable a truck that cost 80k new had that kind of issued ...
I have a 2004 F150 , 2004 Expedition , a Chevy silverado , also I had a safari van and a pontiac and none of them has any noise in the interior ...

Anyway I will live with that cause I LOVE HUMMER

BTW here it is a picture of my babe

I have the same problem with my H2. It's the only thing I hate about my truck.

When I was shopping for H2's, I test drove 3 of them in one day (all 2007's) and they all had the squeaky center console. The one I finally bought (which wasn't one of those 3) also has the squeaky console, as well as lots of other squeaky plastic. I love the truck but I can't help but feel that GM was kind of lazy on the interior plastic.

Can anyone with a 2008 or 2009 H2 comment on this issue? I would hope they fixed this issue with the interior overhaul.

The problem is most of these parts just snap together if it's just one or two places you know the noise is coming from pull them apart and checks it out. It looks like GM used a sticky felt to minimize this noise but it isn't always lined up. I was able to fix some of the areas I had by applying new felt. I still have some areas that make noise but they aren't constant.

I think there once was a service bulletin on the squeeky door panels...

My awful dealer told me to get lost when I brought it up... They were not even willing to look up to see if I was right about the bulletin.

I spent $10 on double sided tape and the issue went away with my door panels.

It's GM cutting corners and handing out a crappy product... like usual...

The best fix is the one you do yourself...

I think they fixed that problem in the 08-09 model caddy interior.
