Default Plastic door spring clips

Hi all,

I asked this on another thread, but never got an answer.

Does anyone know where to get the small plastic, rubber grommet sprung, door clips which keep the rear inside plastic door panel and side compartment plastic panel closed? I have one that has broken and it is annoying that a compartment is only kept shut by one at the moment, instead of the two!

Many thanks,
Mark

Default clip

you might just try super glueing that broken clip back to the panel... that would be a temporary fix... i'm afraid to fix it right you will have to order the whole panel

Yeah - that is what the spares parts seem to say - crazy!!

Unfortunately the broken clip is un-gluable - may have to take a trip to a hardware store and see what other alternatives I can come up with.

Cheers

One of mine fell out and was lost. The dealer got me a new one. Have you checked?

Yes, unfortunately dealer only suggested the whole panel as an opion, far too expensive.

HOLY CR*P!! I just call my dealership to see about getting you a new latch, since they were able to get me one. The part no. is 15128598. The list price is $71.88!!
There was no mistaking the part....he knew exactly what I was talking about. There's a real "bargain" on GMPartsDirect for the low low price of $43.26! If this is the trend for HUMMER replacement parts we're all in deep sh*t!!

Default snaps

you might try a cheaper alternative... maybe velcroe, or a magnet... i'd try anything before spending $75 on a snap.
