Pictures Of 6000k HID Headlights & Driving Lights
The headlight and driving light kits are Philips 6000k HID conversions which include a bulb and a ballast. On the left side of the dash is a Whelen CenCom Gold PC based light & siren control. On the dash, side, and rear windows are Whelen Slimlighter red LED lights. The deck is an Alpine (I bypassed the Onstar. The adapters were a pain with engine noise). Under the deck is an Orion 800mhz remote head radio control with police/fire/emergency service frequencies.

no lens problems with HID's, they actually run alot cooler tahn normal halogens, and are only probably a 35 watt bulb. I have 10,000k HID's and they are a 35 watt bulb and never even get warm.

all the freekin timeI'm constantly getting flashed, but I also have them aimed higher than they should be. I think they would be fine if aimed lower. I just keep mine higher to **** people off if they cut in front of me.

RE: Pictures Of 6000k HID Headlights & Driving Lights
I mounted the Whelen CSP690 power supply and the CenCom in the rear drivers side storage. The interior panels were the hardest I have ever removed from a vehicle. I can't believe how many stupid GM rivet clips are on this thing. They don't even stick with one size. After breaking the door sill clips I borrowed some bigger ones from the rear tailgate sill. I'm going to have to order a bucket of clips from the dealer by the time I'm done.
I picked up the HID kits from Eurosport in Honolulu. They were $300.00 a kit. The brand was called HALO. It uses Philips 6000k bulbs and ballasts. They don't look waterproof so I mounted them in the engine area in front of the battery and on the side on the airbox. They do make waterproof models with deutsche connectors and are available online. My friend has a set on his Xterra and they ran about $400 for the set.
