Ya we were having a really bad blizzard here in Colorado... White out conditions. Apparently I didn't see that huge snow drift. Those 2 pictures were taken the next day and after a few hours of shoveling. The night I got it stuck I had to crawl out of the sun roof. IT SUCKED!!!! I almost froze to death. LOL!!! The worst part was hearing the jackass in the Dodge laugh at the Hummer. That was the only time I have ever got it stuck.

Now I've never driven one nor will I ever but I'm pretty sure that if you bury a tankin enough snow, that too will have some issues getting out of it :-)

Would take a lot of snow though ..... LOL!

Sunroof ehhh .. so you parked in like 3-4 feet of snow AND assumed you could get the doors open? Just an idea for "next time" ... use the rear door, it's a whole lot easier .. especially when the truck itself already did the clearing of the snow for you :P

There is no handle in the back to open the door from the inside. Plus I sat in there for a while, trying to figure out what to do. So by the time I was ready to get out, the snow had covered up all the doors. It was crazy. I could not see a foot in front of me, so I had no clue how much snow I drove into. It was pretty awesome to see, once the weather had cleared. But the sun roof worked out pretty well as an escape hatch.

You are talking about the tail gate door right? I don't have one back there unless it is hidden, or I have never really looked.
