Default Peeling Paint inside door

I just bought a 2003 H2, yellow. Love it but the inside driver and passenger door handle outline (silver) paint is peeling. Anyone else had the same problem? Dealer is going to repair but what are chances of happening again?

excellent color choice and model. my paint's coming off too on the inside door handles. it's from use, i don't worry about it. you could wear gloves all the time, and make passengers do the same. otherwise, fingernails and stuff are going to wear off the paint over time.

is the dealer fixing it under warranty, or are you paying for it? it's 3 years old, doesn't seem worth it to me. then again, i'm not real big on keeping the bus in pristine condition.

Luckily i called the dealership and spoke to someone who actually cared about my problem. AND.....lucky for me its still covered under warranty until end of this October! YAY! I was just wondering if repainting it helped, but i might as well do ir for free right?

Now, Back to the subject;

HEATHER sweetheart, do these door handles already have a chrome surround bezel aroung the handles? I'm not sure of what you are trying to explain..But if it's just the paint around them and behind them..I think they make aftermarket Chrome door handle inserts that will cover up the problem and still be classy..I'm sure, such as yourself[sm=loveeyes.gif]

Good luck my dear[sm=smiley2.gif]
