Default pcm tune speed/rev limiter question

I'm getting ready to go to pcmforless to get my pcm tune and wanted to know if I should remove the speed limiter and/or rev limiter? I'm not sure how this will affect the performance of my 08 and I couldn't find much info going through previous threads.

It won't affect the performance, until you hit the limit, then it goes all to hell

Personally, I'd leave the limit in, for a safetyfor the engine..

I chit canned the limiter. Got no plans of going 120mph, but when I am climbig a 400' dune and I nail it, I need it.
You can only hit the shut out of the limiter trying to run WOT on pavement for a LONG ways..............then the motor cuts out...boy that is a safety feature.

However, I guess there is always gonna be somebody that puts it in first and floors it to over-rev?? [&o]

No problems until you breach the redline that is..This is why I say it's a safety for the engine.

I doubt my massive I 5 will hit the rpm numbers shown in that video between shift points with out a jack stand or perhaps an area like the Salt flats but yes it is a nice safety.

speed limiter. I did 0 to 93 in about TEN MINUTES with my I5. Of course I don't think it helped that it was 112+ on the highway, the engine was over 3/4 temp. I'm pretty sure the computer cut back the power due to the heat. I couldn't get it above 93 as I tried to catch up to others in the group.
