Default PCM Help Needed

I have read alot about PCMforless.com (all good so far). How hard would this whole think be do to do for a novice. Who can do the cam sensor after the pcm is reinstalled. I live about 100 miles from the hummer dealer. Nearest GM dealer 50 miles plus. Whats the total cost and how hard is it to do and what needs to be done after the chip is received back from PCMforless?

thanks for all the help

If you had done your homework here...you'd know that you won't need the case relearn done if you have your original PCM tuned..the loaner (if that's the route you take) will have that issue turned off and you MAY have to do a security relearnon the loaner to get the truck started (takes about 31 minutes while you sit inside the car and follow the instructions that comes with the loaner) (I didn't need to do that on my loaner, some do, some don't can't answer why the difference) At any rate Call Kelly at PCMforless and she'll explain everything..Bottom line..you won't need to go to the dealer unless you get a newPCM from PCMforless and you are going to keep your original original.

I know everyone is not in the position to do this but, if you have another vehicle to drive or can afford to park your Hummer for a very short time. A "send in" is definately the way to go. Kelly will get it done for you very quickly, if you do it during the week.(Not having to worry about the shipping over a weekend).
My pcm was out of my H3 for a total of 40 hours that includes the shipping time to and from PCM for Less. The best part is you only have to do it once, no loaner, no CASE relearn,no security relearn. Just mash the gas and go!Call and talk to Kelly.
