Default Passenger side outside mirror attachment

The mirror (glass) fell off my passenger side housing. The electric motor adjuster is still there as is the housing. I purchased a replacement mirror (P/N 10376675) thinking it would snap back in place. I was surprised to find only the glass ships. There must be another plastic part that sits between the mirror glass and the adjusting motor.

Anyone have a clue as to what part I am missing / need?

This is what the replacement mirror glass looks like on the back side, in addition to the plastic glued on backing plate, these have the turn signal built in. Pretty self explanatory, the backing plate snaps onto the motor posts.

You bought just the mirro glass, like a window place would do when they reinstall the old backing plate to the new glass.

Jeff,

Thanks for the picture. The backing plate is definitely what I am missing. Mine must have stayed on the mirror when it fell off.

Unfortunately I can't find a part number for your example. Do you have one?

Thanks,
Mark

EDIT: Never mind about the P/N. I found it.

The new mirror glass with the turn signals are nice, but what would they plug in to? I'm assuming that our H3s don't have turn signal wiring in the mirror housings since they didn't come stock with signals in the mirrors stock. Or is the wiring in all of our housings un-used?

Source/Part number for those mirror/turn signals?

Ouch, never mind; I found them (as well as the instructions on wiring). Nice, but too rich for my blood.
