painting skidplate

RE: painting skidplate
i recommend bedliner.
google for a can of your preferred color, clean the plate up, and bedline it. bedliner tends to stick pretty well to most things, and should stick to the plate well enough to hold up to mild beatings offroad (no worries with the wind).
My plate is currently spray-painted, but is due for a bedliner when i get it out of the shop. Now, my plate is steel as the factory one got crumpled up pretty fast from my 'wheelin habits, which tend towards, well, towards crumpling skid plates.
But bedliner will definitely do the trick.

when i painted my skid plate i cleaned it with acid rim cleaner (do not use acid rim cleaner on h2 stock wheels) with a brush rinsed it and then i painted it with a soft fine brush with rustoleum exterior paint in the small cans works great and doesn't come of ive had it on since last summer and no problems.
