Default Painted interior trim pieces

I was debating whether or not to paint the trim around the radio and vents in my h3. I've looked online and can't find any pictures I was seeing if anyone else has done it and could post pictures so I can see how it looks before I do it. Thank you

Personally I like the aluminum look, painted interior pieces make me think of teenagers in their Honda civics with giant wings who think it makes their car custom. If you do want to do it try using plastidip or the duplicolor version. That way you can spray it and if you decide you don't like it you can peel it back off no harm no foul. If you do choose to actually paint it make sure you prep out very well, the smallest left over armoural or dash cleaner/shine well cause the paint to fisheye and if it's not prepped well it week begin to flake off in no time.

It might look okay painted black to match the dash. Otherwise, I think it would look out of place unless the entire interior was custom.

I think it was Mustanggirl666 that did the interior trim (Center area around radio, and instrument panel background) in yellow to match the outside. Turned our really nice, actually. I wish the top portion (around the center A/C vents) was matching silver like the rest below it, but I guess it was done that way to eliminate glare?

I debated this but decided not to. I wanted to color fiberglass the headliner with designs and paint the trim to match. But that won't happen for years when I can afford a second one to play with and paint the outside different. It could turn out good if someone skilled does it. But having a second of each is my game plan. Good luck whatever you decide.
