I normally go to my buddies property in PA, or to the state game land across from Pocono raceway...they have a nice range setup, it's free and you'll get to do some good wheeling to get there
Might not be able to reach out to 300 yrd there but I sited a scope in on my 270 at 150yrds and I had another 50 yrds or so to go.
