Haven't seen, heard of or used it yet. Had to register to find out what it cost. If you try it report back and let us know how it worked out. There are some threads in here on this topic. Use the search function and find out what other members have done.

Sketchy? I really hate sketchy companies. I would love to turn my Onstar into a bluetooth though, so if anyone finds anything that is actually legit I would love to hear about it. Maybe someone with some techinical skills can answer a question for me though. My coworker was telling me that they thought Onstar would be out of service when the new law changes in July of this year, any thoughts or comments?

Yeah, I'm trying to find a way to access the NAV/DVD for the Escalade since I already have all of those functions on my H2. While reading an Escalade forum about such things, coastaltech has come up NUMEROUS times about Crappy Product...NO HELP/COMMUNICATION and overall a feeling of buyer beware. Seems like 1 out of every 4 say that coastal is OK. And just OK, never read about anyone PRAISING them!!![:@]

The kit just gives you audio system mute and use of the car's speakers for Bluetooth phone audio. I don't know how much it costs but it doesn't seem like it would be worth it. You also still have to buy an aftermarket BT phone kit too.
If you don't want to mount an additional phone speaker in your car, why not just use an audio speaker relay on one of your car's sound system speakers? When you're in a call, just manually turn down the radio audio yourself.
I wouldn't spend big bucks for a Bluetooth kit unless it has Voice Recognition and automatic phonebook download built in, otherwise I'd rather just use a headset while I'm driving.
