OnStar - anyone uses it nowdays?
#11
I used OnStar for the 3 month trial and then let it go. It used to be that you could link your OnStar hands-free phone to your Verizon Wireless account. When they stopped that, it was no longer worth the price. As mentioned, we all have GPS units and cell phones now. The only benefit of OnStar is the accident coverage in case you are injured and can't call someone, and the anti-theft (which is not all that good since all thieves know how to disable it). I already have roadside assistance through AAA Premier and through my insurance... So, no.. I just save that money and it more than pays for my XM subscription that I really enjoy and feel like it is money well spent.
