Angry Oil Leak Massive...Hummer 6.2L

Oil Leak! Brothers and Sisters i need help! 08 6.2L SUT with massive oil leak at rear of motor. Local dealership diagnosed rear main seal, R&R and leak continues Local dealership then R&R oil pan gasket, then cooling line on drivers side at transmission. You guessed it, still leaks if not worse. Cannot verify the work done, oil pan looks clean though. Any thoughts?

Cannot see leak until motor is off, within a few minutes oil appears on the ground My 5th SUT, 2nd 6.2L, and I've never has a single mechanical issue. All suggestions welcome, heck I can't even trade in with this situation...

All common issues with these 6.0/6.2 engines. I had to replace my rear main seal, change all the oil lines (leaking) and transmission lines (rust). if its still leaking after the dealership fixed it, must be poor worksmanship. Bring it back.

Are you sure the leak is not higher up near the intake manifold and runing down the back of the block.
I would take it back and tell them try it again

Surely they can put some tracer dye in the oil and spot the leak. It's sounds more like an incompetent technician.

Also these motors have a history of issues with the two part rear main seals. There is a special alignment tool for setting the position of the seal but GM now specs replacement of the rear cover which comes as an assembly with the seal installed to prevent this issue. Might want to check to see if they did this. Where the rear cover meets the oil pan there is about an 1/8" gap that is (should be) filled with gasket material. When I just replaced our oil pan two weeks ago the material had worked out of the gap and I cleaned it up well and put additional gasket sealer on these two spots to prevent any issues.

Mine was the rear intake manifold seal running down the back, looks like rear main. Mine was really bad but my mechanic verified it was this and NOT the rear main.

This is something I'm going to need to battle soon as well. I'll be watching this to see what you come up with.
