I do mine every 3750 because that's what the srvice agreement requires, but once that is done I will go back to every 3000.
I know it is a beat to death subject, butI was told the indicator light was based on cumulative oil temp and RPM, not on mileage. Nevertheless, reliance on it to tell you when to change your oil is as smart as using an alarm clock to tell you when your beer is cold in the fridge; both will get the job done, but there are better ways out there.

my dealer changes mine for 30 bucks and washes it and the 4 change is free
so i let them do it + it makes any warranty work easier w/ them doin thechanges

 

My oil is changed by the dealer every 3K.[X(]
