No, only to those who don't think it is wise to use additives. It depends what additives we are talking about. I think we are talking about oil additives, but what has heavy oil to do with any of this, I have no idea. Slick or Dura are not thick oils but thin. I would recommend onlyhalf abottle for the 5 banger...

Use Slick 50 every 30,000 miles....1/2....change your oil every 15,000...Then at 200,000 miles you can go around bragging? Numbers look good to me...been there done that!!
