68,000 and runnin' strong
I have an '08 3.7 H3 with 68K on it so far. I have had next to nothing go bad. With that said....I did have to go through the broken exhaust bolt fiasco. I repaired it myself. Took about an hour and a half to get it apart, then 4 days to put it back together in the evenings after work. What a PITA, the broken bolt was the easy part. Apparently most of these cases end up with the exhaust manifold warped and the bolts don't line up. After about a dozen attempts to get it bolted back up, I drilled out all of the bolt holes to 5/8 and used double grade 8 flat washers, along with an extra section of gasket on the #5 exhaust port. I really hated to have to "Mickey Mouse" it back together that way...but couldn't afford to replace the manifold and looked at getting a header but they wouldn't ship it to California. Other than that I love it. Did the torsion leveling the day after I brought it home from the dealer. Later I did a muffler delete...nothing but the cat now and lost a good 40lbs. of dead weight. Now running 285s, brush guard, roof rack, Hella lights. Just keep drivin' em.
